Since I missed out last week, my book stash is slightly larger this week… or maybe I have to just admit that I have failed my New Year’s resolution to be less impulsive with my book-buying madness!
- Shadow Marked by Anna J. Evans – This book has a hot cover, but reads like an X-rated 80s horror flick. Alas.
- A Touch of Dead by Charlaine Harris
- Magic or Madness by Justine Larbalestier
- Blue Diablo by Ann Aguire – I love this UK cover!
- Retribution Falls by Chris Wooding – Not my usual genre, but I was just intrigued by the whole space!pirates plot. Probably a left-over Firefly syndrome.
- Black and White by Jackie Kessler and Caitlin Kittredge
- The Iron Hunt by Majorie M. Liu
I also got 3 more Richelle Mead novels. I think I am only missing one of the Succubus books and then I’ll have them all (GOD, I need more reading time!). A disturbing amount of them are signed – five, or maybe six? – because my book stores seem to keep a stack of them in the back room. Seriously, they never run out. It’s bizarre.
- Succubus Dreams by Richelle Mead (signed)
- Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead – Anyone else annoyed by how tall this book is? It’s completely mismatched with the rest of the series! *le sigh*
- Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead
Anyhow, I was very happy with my books this week! How about everyone else? ♥

I loved Spirit Bound and thought it was one of the best books in the series. I hope you enjoy it too.
ha, my New Years resolution was to buy less books. Major fail! I haven’t read anything by Richelle Mead but I want to.
Some really awesome titles. I need to read Richele Mead. Everyone is talking about Spirit Bound. Magic of Madness also sounds intriguing, Enjoy!
Magic of Madness, Iron Hunt and Retribution all sound/look good. Are you a fellow Firefly/Serenity fan? 😀
And congrats on the signed Richelle Mead books. That’s very cool – your store must have a load of signed stock left over. Happy days!
I have been avoiding the bookstore lately as it’s too hard to walk out without buying anything, yet my TBR pile seems to be growing instead of shrinking. And I have yet to read any of the Vampire Academy series (I know, I know, I will get to them this summer while on holidays) but I do have the entire series except for the last book.
Enjoy your great books!!
Magic or Madness seems interesting!
Happy reading!

@Jenny – I am a big Joss Whedon fan! Firefly is probably my favourite of his verses. Although Buffy was, of course, got me sucked in. ♥
@Stephanie – I know what that’s like! I keep reading and reading, but my TBR pile has only gotten higher. Eep. You’ll love the VA series – they are seriously addictive.
@Rhiana – READ RICHELLE MEAD. If anything, buying her books are a great excuse to forgo the resolution!
