It’s Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event now hosted by One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books where we discuss our week of reading!
Books I am currently reading:
- Mark of the Demon by Diana Rowland – Reading as part of the League Challenge. And considering how much I loved the last book for the challenge, I am expecting good things from this one too!
Books I finished this week:
- Red-headed Stepchild by Jaye Wells – This book so bloody amazing. I was head-over-heels in love. Seriously good stuff. Can’t wait to review it!
- Hearts at Stake (aka My Love Lies Bleeding) by Alyxandra Harvey – Enjoyable read but left me empty.
Reviews posted this week:
Up next from the TBR pile:
- Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore – I want everyone to pause at look below at the beautiful UK cover this book has… which is also spectacularly controversy-free!
- The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien – Need to get going with this one for the readalong…!

I love your description of red Headed Step Child. Looks like you had a good reading week!
I have not heard of these which tells me they are in genres I do not usually read. I will look into them, thanks. Happy reading! My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/02/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-15.html
Apart from Tolkien I don’t recognise any of these either. Nice covers, though.
Have a great reading week!
Mark of the Demon and Red Headed Step Child covers are both awesome. I will have to check them out.
Great list of books! I want to read Mark of the Demon some time. I have Red-Headed Stepchild and need to read it before the end of the month for the challenge too.
Here’s my post if you want to check it out: Not-Really-Southern Vamp Chick
Love the look of your blog and it looks like you have a nice line-up of books. Happy reading 🙂
They all look like great books. Red-Headed Stepchild looks really good.
This is my first visit to your blog, I really like the layout and colours, very pretty and unusual. You’ve got a great line up of books. Hope you have a great week!
I’ve seen The Espressologist a couple of other places and added it to my TBR list. I need to pick it up!
Have a great week!

I love the cover for Magic under the Glass!
I have Mark of the Demon in my TBR pile!
@Sheila @Amanda @Chrissie – Please do read Red-headed Stepchild ASAP. It is an AMAZING book!
@Teddytree and @Alaine – I am glad you both like the site layout! I spent quite a while on it and am glad to know someone else likes it!
@Michelle – The Espressologist is a super fun read. Grab a latte while you are reading it as it makes it even more enjoyable!
@Felicia – Isn’t it adorable? I kinda feel like framing it…!
Thanks everyone for commenting – and happy reading!
Aside from Tolkien, I don’t know any of these, but they look good. The FOTR though holds a place dear in my heart. Enjoy the reads.
Glad to hear good things about Red Headed Stepchild – I have that up soon as I am giving it away on my blog (an attempt to clear out my bookshelves). I kept hearing good things about it but couldn’t seem to get to reading it. I look forward to seeing your review.
I also keep hearing about the Lord of the Rings read-along. I read these several years ago but I am feeling the pull to read them again.
You had a great reading week!
I hope you enjoyed them all!
Happy reading!
Well the covers all make them look very appealing. Have a great week and fun reading!
Looks like you had a great week! The Espressologist looks really cute 🙂
Here’s what I’m reading.
Mark of the Demon looks interesting – I’ll be watching out for your review of that one :o) Hope you have a great week!
