It’s Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event now hosted by One Persons Journey Through a World Of Books where we discuss our week of reading!
Currently Reading:
- Shadow Marked by Anna J. Evans– The day after reading this review over at Smexy, I found this on display at Forbidden Planet. I decided it was fate – and have really been enjoying it so far!
Finished this Week
- Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead – Amazing! The Vampire Academy Series just keeps getting better and better. Although I am getting frustrated by Mead’s ability to take my heart out and stomp on it.
- The Line by Teri Hall – Really interesting premise, but not such great writing. Hopefully Hall will improve with her next novel.

I’m halfway through Firespell! 🙂
I have been curious about The Line. I had hoped it would be a good one. Thanks for the info. 🙂
Have a good week!
Shadow Mark sounds interesting I hope you enjoy your reading!
A vampire week it looks like! That’s too bad to hear about The Line, it seemed to have so much potential. Maybe I’ll wait until the next one to pick them both up.
Have a fantastic reading week and if you get a chance, stop by: Monday Reading’s at There’s A Book
I will have to read your review of Frostbite. I love this series and I’m glad that I didn’t start reading them until a few months ago so I didn’t have to wait as long for the next book. I have a feeling that Blood Promise will be a hard book for you to read. It definitely has its poignant moments but I loved it anyway.
I am disappointed to hear that The Line wasn’t well written. I have it on my TBR list. I may still read it someday. Shadow Marked looks good. I hadn’t heard of it before.
I hope you have a great week!
Fun! I just finished Frostbite & Shadow Kiss this week & loved them both! I still need to write up my reviews, but I am so caught up in Blood Promise now that it is hard to pull myself away from reading long enough to write a review. I may just have to review the first five books at once after finishing Spirit Bound. I have a feeling that waiting until December to read the final book is going to be pretty torturous, so maybe I really shouldn’t be in such a hurry to read Spirit Bound.
My Monday reading update post is at The Eager Readers. 🙂
Great books! Hope you find time to read and enjoy them! Have a great week! Stop by and check out what I got at The Wormhole
New follower!
@Christina – I think you’re right. Blood Promise will likely have me sobbing in the fetal position by the second chapter. But I know I’ll love it anyways…. That really doesn’t sound healthy, does it? 😉
The Line wasn’t that great – but I don’t regret buying it… okay, maybe I wish I’d waited for the paperback. Shadow Marked, though? Worth every last cent!
@Violet – Savour ever last minute of Spirit Bound, because the wait will be terrible! I’m rationing out my VA books for just that reason. 🙂
@Sheila and the1stdaughter – I had also been very optimistic about The Line… alas.
@Beverly – *waves* Thanks!
