Geez, that scene was so heartbreaking. For all that Snape spends so much time being a jerk, you really can’t help but feel for him there.
@Bibliotropic – Since book 1 I had gotten the feeling that we weren’t getting the whole story about Snape… but when DH came out, I couldn’t believe how much we hadn’t known! And this line… 🙁
