As I am currently on holiday, I’m afraid my book intake has been rather low. I have, however, gotten two great YA books this week that I cannot wait to read!
For Review:
Bought:
I’m afraid that’s all for today! I ordered a copy of Linger a few weeks ago and it still hasn’t arrived. *grumbles* I blame the fact that it is coming from the States.

Not many books this week, but I am quite stoked about the ones I got. I took a trip over to the Waterstonesby UCL and they had a ton of fiction in their secondhand/remainders section that I was able to snag on the cheap. I also picked up a pen that looks like a blood filled syringe – needless to say it was love at first sight for my medic mum. Very pleased with myself.
This week:
That’s all! As I’m not going to be in the UK for the next 2 months – unless something mad happens, resulting in my return – I’m afraid my IMM posts are going to be rather scarce. I’ll get the occasional book from The Book Depository, but this summer is going to have to be devoted to reading the books I already
own. Picky, huh?
Soo… how was your week? ♥

I looove my books this week! I went a bit YA-mad at Foyles as everything was 10% off and it was to be my last trip there for many months. *sigh* Which is probably a good thing, considering this gives them a chance to refresh the stock. *snickers* I also had some great luck at charity shops, so I managed to get a lot of books without feeling guilty over their prices. Which is a lovely thing…
From the top:
And a few of these were signed!
The Eternal Kiss (won from
LE) was sent by the lovely Dame Kaz, who also had Maria V. Snyder sign it. It’s a looovely two-for-one and I was very excited when I got it. *pets*
I also picked up Sarwat Chadda’s first novel. Luckily, Foyles still had some of his signed editions left from the Summer Scream event!
So… how was your week? ♥

Despite the epically bad reading week I’ve had – I did manage to get a few nifty books this week!
- Succubus Heat by Richelle Mead (signed)
- Undone by Rachel Caine (signed)
- Stealing Heaven by Elizabeth Scott – I’m trying out some more contemporary YA novels and though that Scott would be a great place to start.
- Sea Change by Aimee Friedman – I was so excited to spot this US import at Foyles!
- Shadow Spell by Caro King – I’ve just finished Seven Sorcerers, and… WOW. Seriously, King is amazing.
- Friday Night Bites by Chloe Neill – The only Neill book I’ve yet to read… *sniffles*
- Once a Witch by Carolyn MacCullough
- Pastworld by Ian Beck
A pretty great week, huh? I have an overwhelming desire to start reading all of them right now – but I think my TBR might start throwing things at me!

I got a lot of books over the past two weeks. My shelves are kinda groaning. But most of these are ones I have really been looking forward to. Which makes this week super-special…
That’s all! Pretty shiny, no? I have a feeling my IMM will be significantly smaller next week after this haul!

Since I missed out last week, my book stash is slightly larger this week… or maybe I have to just admit that I have failed my New Year’s resolution to be less impulsive with my book-buying madness!
I also got 3 more Richelle Mead novels. I think I am only missing one of the Succubus books and then I’ll have them all (GOD, I need more reading time!). A disturbing amount of them are signed – five, or maybe six? – because my book stores seem to keep a stack of them in the back room. Seriously, they never run out. It’s bizarre.
- Succubus Dreams by Richelle Mead (signed)
- Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead – Anyone else annoyed by how tall this book is? It’s completely mismatched with the rest of the series! *le sigh*
- Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead
Anyhow, I was very happy with my books this week! How about everyone else? ♥
